Chess is really an excellent game and should be played with a good strategy and tactics. Chess is a real “War game” and the players are like the commanders of an army. Once you start playing chess you should keep in your mind that you are not playing to protect your pieces although the game also you should play in such a way to defeat the opponent. • First you should know the worth of each piece and so that you can compromise your small value pieces for some higher value pieces.
• Also you should plan your strategy of the game in advance so that you can make your moves much in advance which your opponent would not expect.
• You should be aware of your opponent’s moves and also it is of very useful for us to escape from the opponent’s trap.
• Your pieces should be ready in position such that it is capable of facing any moves from your opponent.

These tactics should be adopted to make your move in such a manner that improves the position of the pieces.
